Heyco Metals is seeking a responsible, reliable Metal Manufacturing Mill Hand to help keep our fast-paced plant running smoothly. The Metal Manufacturing Mill Hand assists operators in the facility and handles material from one department to another such as banding, skidding, weighing, and identifying. The Metal Manufacturing Mill Hand quality checks and utilizes the computer to enter information. This is just a starting point; Heyco is looking for candidates to grow in this position and eventually become machine operators!

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Prior experience in operating material handling equipment highly preferred
  • Ability to read instructions off of a mill card, must be detailed oriented
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, industrial atmosphere
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Able to read a micrometer
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Previous experience working in an industrial environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with Metals is highly desired
  • Desires to excel and work for a company that provides great incentives

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with metals is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in operating material handling equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.

Heyco Metals is seeking a responsible, reliable Slitting Operator to help keep our fast-paced plant running smoothly. The Slitting Operator reviews the mill card prior to processing the order to understand the requirements of slitting material and sets up the assigned equipment to slit the material in accordance with the work instructions.

The ideal Slitting Operator candidate will have the following skills:

  • Produce precision-rolled copper and stainless steel safely, accurately, and quickly for our customers.
  • Comply with all safety regulations while in the plant.
  • Review the mill card prior to processing in order to understand the requirements of slitting material.
  • Set up the assigned equipment and slit the material in accordance with the work instructions located at the equipment site.
  • As team leader, provide guidance and instructions to team members as necessary.
  • Complete all quality checks and to enter the required information onto the mill card and slitting evaluation form.
  • Assist the general mill hand in maintaining a smooth flow of production.
  • Comply with the Heyco Quality System at all times during processing.
  • Keep the slitter and slitter area clean.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with metals is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in operating material handling equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED

The Facility Maintenance Technician assists with the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment within the facility, building maintenance, and handles the pick up of ordered maintenance parts.

Physical Demands of Facility Maintenance:

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping.
  • Lifting and carrying short distances (100 lbs. max.).
  • Manual dexterity needed to perform maintenance activities.

 

Abilities of Facility Maintenance:
Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions, perform computations, compose written communications, effectively communicate verbally, make work-related decisions, prioritize work assignments, and handle confidential information.

Must possess a Valid Driver’s License & Fork Lift License

Heyco Metals is seeking an accounting analyst to join a dynamic, growth-oriented organization. This position will be eligible for the company bonus program. The position will work in an office environment with occasional walking and standing.

The primary duties of the Accounting Analyst will focus on general accounting and reporting activities.  The analyst will perform sections of the monthly closing process, prepare cost analysis related to factory, freight, and other costs, as well as year-end schedules and various tax reporting. In addition to core responsibilities, the Analyst will be responsible for billing and accounts receivable functions, including credit reviews/collections and cash application, account reconciliations.  The Analyst will also be the primary back-up for accounts payable.

The essential functions of the job include:

  • General accounting and monthly closing tasks
  • Preparation of cost and balance sheet analysis
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Daily cash reporting utilizing bank website.
  • General Ledger Account Reconciliations
  • Gathering information used to aid in month-end financial statement analysis and commentary.
  • Review daily billing for invoice approval.
  • Preparing weekly reviews of customer accounts to update credit hold status.
  • Processing daily deposits via remote capture and cash application
  • Customer collection of past due balances
  • Various tax filings
  • Assisting with verification of invoice pricing and receiving PO’s for payment
  • Become cross-trained on Payroll and AP invoice entry.

 

Skills and Background Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting or Similar field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the general accounting or analysis
  • 1 year working in a manufacturing environment or CPA firm preferred.
  • Experience in MS Office and working with ERP systems.
